For this reason, RECHI products not only consider user requirements, functionality, added value we also take environmental impact into consideration. Starting from the design phase, we evaluate all potential environmental impacts and think in terms of how we can reduce this impact when designing our product.
The design and development of environment friendly refrigerant compressor
To reduce the impact of HCFCs to the ozone layer and meets the standards established by Montreal Protocol, RECHI has developed HCF compatible R407C/R410A/R134a series compressors to work with HCF since 1998.
The design and development of high efficacy compressor
In order to reduce energy waste, the development of high efficiency compressor has always been the mission of RECHI. RECHI develops energy star rated compressors according to various government mandates. Furthermore, ultra high efficiency DC inverter compressor has been developed for the more stringent 2011 air conditioning energy star rating.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances
In order to reduce the environmental impact of hazardous substances, EU announced RoHS directive in 2003 and it came into effect in July of 2007. It restricts the use of Hg, Pb, Cd, Cr 6+, PBBs, PBDEs in electrical and electronic appliances sold in the EU. RECHI has been RoHS compliant since July of 2005.
REACH substance of very high concern and hazardous substance management
Since the establishment of RoHS, EU enacted REACH regulation for material and finished good selling into EU since 2007. RECHI and its suppliers work together to ensure that all its compressors are REACH compliant. All products are checked against SVHC and Dangerous Substances regularly.
